So what does the Bible really say about homosexuality? First of all, most  people like to call Leviticus Eighteen to mind when debating on this issue. But reading the entire passage you find that not only was it forbidden for man to lay with man, but the entire land was defiled and considered an abomination.

Moreover, when you look at Luke Seventeen verse thirty-three and thirty-five you read that two men were in the bed together and two women were also in the bed together; grinding, yet one of each still was taken up into heaven. In fact, when you look at Romans Eight verse seven, you learn that "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."

Still many continue to debate that same-sex couples are going against the natural order of our existence. But if you look at I Corinthians Seven verse one you learn that Jesus said, "Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman."

Furthermore, looking at Revelation Fourteen verse four you learn that John wrote these words, "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they were virgins..." So why would a man be considered defiled after being with a woman?

Jesus said unto them, "The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage."- Luke 20:34 & 35 KJV

Ironically, it was Adam that employed the idea that man should marry woman. Looking at Genesis Two verse twenty-three and twenty-four the scripture teaches us, "And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Men. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

It's finding such wisdom like this that allures you deeper into studying the scriptures. This is why I know you will find reading my new book Scriptural Wisdom for Modern Day Believer's so stimulating to your soul.

Learning about the rich history of world religions like Christianity, Islam, Hindusim, and many more and how each religion developed over time and what their beliefs are; gives you a better understanding on why you should know the word.

In fact, Jesus said, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."- James 1:27 KJV

"For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving..."- I Timothy 4:4 KJV

"It is written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true."- John 8:17 KJV

"As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord."- Luke 2:23 KJV

"But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins..."- Luke 5:24KJV

"But the rightesouness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down from above:) or, Who shall descend into the deep?(that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)- Romans 10:6 & 7 KJV

Therefore, when Bible publishers and most minister attempt to pursuade scripture readers that same-sex couples are in violation of the word of God; I think it important that they know what they are expressing. In fact, it is such misinformation that has stagnated our country for centuries.

If we are to ever rise to a pinnacle of enlightenment that embodies the entire kalidescope of human intelligence; we cannot deprive each other of life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. Nor can we deprive one another of the right to be happy or safe in our persons. Citing such clarity one must recall  the US Constitution, which was enacted to give all US citizens the right to be free to worship God as one sees fit in accordance to their own consciouness.
