Recently, the District of Columbia announced its approval of same-sex marriage; making it the seventh state
in North America to allow same-sex couples the right to join in holy matrimony. However, despite the United States Constitution
and its Fourteenth Amendment, which gives same-sex couples this right; is this really against the will of God?
For century's, countless people have fought feverishly to oppress same-sex couples. So much, during the
Nazi regime, Adolf Hilter enacted the German Code- Paragraph 175; making homosexuality criminal. As a result, more than fifty
thousand homosexuals were imprisoned, tortured and even murdered.
By the grace of God, such laws began to dwindle as years progressed. Nevertheless, here we are in
the year twenty-ten and society is still faced with a challenging decision...should we embrace same-sex couples
or not. In many instances, many religious followers often elect to convey scripture in an effort to show just
cause why same-sex couples should not be accepted.
On the contrary, those that do look to the scriptures for clarity on same-sex issues; are unfortunately
finding it bewildering when faced with the truth.
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."- I Corinthians 2: 14 KJV
